Ich habe vor hotelkit vier Start-ups gegr\u00fcndet, die gescheitert sind. Heute kann ich sehr gut analysieren, warum: Wir hatten Ideen. Aber wir hatten keine dringenden Probleme, die wir gel\u00f6st haben.<br><br>hotelkit ist anders entstanden. Es war kein Businessplan am Rei\u00dfbrett. Es war ein echtes Problem in meinem eigenen Hotel. Und genau das macht den Unterschied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:5px\">Wie ist hotelkit eigentlich entstanden?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich komme aus der Hotellerie. Meine Eltern waren Gastgeber, ich bin praktisch im Hotel aufgewachsen. Bei uns am K\u00fcchentisch ging es nicht um Fu\u00dfballergebnisse, sondern um Dienstpl\u00e4ne, G\u00e4stew\u00fcnsche und Reparaturen.\u00a0In unserem Hotel gab es eine riesige Mappe mit Standards und Prozessen \u2013 wir nannten sie die \u201e<em>Monstermappe<\/em>\u201c.\u00a0Niemand hat darin gefunden, was er gesucht hat.\u00a0 <br><br>Also habe ich mir gedacht:\u00a0Was w\u00e4re, wenn wir das Wissen eines Hotels digital zug\u00e4nglich machen?\u00a0<br>F\u00fcr alle. Jederzeit. Ohne Chaos.\u00a0So entstand die Idee einer internen Plattform f\u00fcr Hotels \u2013 eine Art \u201eSlack f\u00fcr Hotels\u201c.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:5px\">Warum war Scheitern ein wichtiger Teil des Erfolgs?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n<div style=\"--textAlignPc: initial; --textAlignTablet: initial; --textAlignMobile: initial; --fontSizePc: initial; --fontSizeTablet: initial; --fontSizeMobile: initial; --fontWeightPc: initial; --fontWeightTablet: initial; --fontWeightMobile: initial; --lineHeightPc: initial; --lineHeightTablet: initial; --lineHeightMobile: initial; --marginBottomPc: ; --marginBottomTablet: ; --marginBottomMobile: ; \" class=\"wp-block-hotelkit-font-customizer\">\n\t\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:24px\">Scheitern geh\u00f6rt dazu. Und das war entscheidend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:5px\">Was braucht es wirklich, um ein internationales Unternehmen aufzubauen?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n<div style=\"--textAlignPc: initial; --textAlignTablet: initial; --textAlignMobile: initial; --fontSizePc: initial; --fontSizeTablet: initial; --fontSizeMobile: initial; --fontWeightPc: initial; --fontWeightTablet: initial; --fontWeightMobile: initial; --lineHeightPc: initial; --lineHeightTablet: initial; --lineHeightMobile: initial; --marginBottomPc: 16px; --marginBottomTablet: 16px; --marginBottomMobile: 16px; \" class=\"margin-bottom-pc margin-bottom-tablet margin-bottom-mobile wp-block-hotelkit-font-customizer\">\n\t\n\n<p>Drei Dinge:<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"padding-bottom:20px\"><strong>Das richtige Timing<\/strong>: <br>Als wir gestartet sind (2012\/2013), war Cloud-Technologie gerade im Kommen. Wir waren eine der ersten L\u00f6sungen, die nicht \u201eon\u00a0premise\u201c, sondern komplett cloudbasiert waren.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-bottom:20px\"><strong>Das richtige Team<\/strong>: <br>Heute sind wir \u00fcber 100 Mitarbeiter in Salzburg und Dresden.\u00a0Ohne dieses Team w\u00e4re hotelkit nie international gewachsen.\u00a0Ein Gr\u00fcnder allein baut kein Scale-up.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-bottom:40px\"><strong>Dranbleiben<\/strong>: <br>Man wei\u00df am Anfang oft nicht, was alles auf einen zukommt.\u00a0Und das ist manchmal sogar gut so.\u00a0Internationalisierung klingt spannend \u2013 ist aber komplex.<br><br>Neue M\u00e4rkte bedeuten:<br><br>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>neue Sprachen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>neue Support-Strukturen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>kulturelle Unterschiede<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technische Herausforderungen (z.B. China Firewall)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:20px\">Wie wird aus einem Startup ein Marktf\u00fchrer?\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Indem man nicht Software baut \u2013 sondern ein Problem l\u00f6st. hotelkit ist nicht entstanden mit der Idee: \u201eWir machen jetzt eine Hotelsoftware.\u201c Es entstand aus einem echten operativen Bedarf.<br><br>Heute nutzen \u00fcber 4.000 Hotels in 85 L\u00e4ndern unsere Plattform. Aber der Kern ist immer derselbe geblieben: Wir erleichtern den Arbeitsalltag von Hotelteams. Nicht f\u00fcr den Gast. Sondern f\u00fcr die Mitarbeiter. Und genau dadurch profitiert am Ende auch der Gast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:5px\">Welche Rolle spielen Innovation und KI in der Hotellerie?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n<div style=\"--textAlignPc: initial; --textAlignTablet: initial; --textAlignMobile: initial; --fontSizePc: initial; --fontSizeTablet: initial; --fontSizeMobile: initial; --fontWeightPc: initial; --fontWeightTablet: initial; --fontWeightMobile: initial; --lineHeightPc: initial; --lineHeightTablet: initial; --lineHeightMobile: initial; --marginBottomPc: ; --marginBottomTablet: ; --marginBottomMobile: ; \" class=\"wp-block-hotelkit-font-customizer\">\n\t\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:20px\">Die Branche steht vor gro\u00dfen Herausforderungen:<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fachkr\u00e4ftemangel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hohe Fluktuation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>steigende Erwartungen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"padding-bottom:20px\">Digitalisierung<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>KI ist kein Bedrohungsszenario \u2013 sondern ein Enabler. Wir entwickeln aktuell einen internen KI-Assistenten, der Hotelwissen konversationsbasiert zug\u00e4nglich macht. Ein Mitarbeiter kann auf seiner Sprache fragen \u2013 und bekommt sofort die passende Antwort. Wissen wird mitarbeiterunabh\u00e4ngig. Prozesse werden einfacher. Teams werden effizienter. Das ist die Zukunft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-20-font-size\" style=\"padding-bottom:5px\">Was w\u00fcrdest du jungen Gr\u00fcndern heute mitgeben?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00fcnden ist kein Sprint. Es ist ein Marathon mit vielen Umwegen. Aber wenn es aufgeht, ist es jede H\u00fcrde wert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"padding-bottom:50px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L\u00f6se ein echtes Problem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Baue nicht zuerst das Produkt \u2013 verstehe zuerst das Problem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bleib dran. Auch wenn es weh tut.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resilienz entwickeln.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00dcber Marius Donhauser\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Marius Donhauser ist Mitgr\u00fcnder und CEO von hotelkit.
