There was also a lack of structure for recurring tasks – many processes were paper-based, difficult to track, and time-consuming. The goal was to improve communication, standardize workflows, and modernize team collaboration.

Even during the test phase, the solution’s potential became clear: digital handovers enabled seamless information sharing, tasks were coordinated across teams, and knowledge was centrally maintained via the handbook. 

Over time, additional tools such as calendars, checklists, and guest request management were integrated. As a result, the hotel was able to fully digitize its paper-based processes and significantly enhance team collaboration.

Efficiency gains and transparent teamwork 

The implementation of hotelkit clearly improved internal workflows. Shift handovers are now traceable, and relevant information is accessible to everyone who needs it. Recurring tasks and checklists bring structure to everyday operations, while meetings and appointments are centrally planned. 

The repair tool has proven especially effective: the majority of reported issues are resolved within one day, with around 70% of repairs completed promptly. Guest requests can also be processed quickly and reliably thanks to the digital interface.
